The Kenilworth lacquered finish is shown. Naturally this is on pine, different woods will take the lacquer or wax differently.
Country Pine Warehouse, or CPW, originated as a business stripping antique pine furniture. This knowledge and experience has led it to become a major supplier of quality pine furniture all made in classic styles. All items, whether cabinets, tables, chairs or stools, are made of solid wood using traditional jointed and glued methods of construction. They arrive at Right Price Furniture in bare wood and can therefore be prepared in a choice of finishes to match your requirements or even left for you to complete in your own fashion.
How to move beech furniture
Beech furniture bought from this website will be moved into your house for you. However, if you want to move your beech furniture once you have bought it, you should always lift your furniture rather than dragging it. Beech furniture has a plinth structure, and dragging it can cause damage to this.
Some two-part items of beech furniture are provided with installation fixings (eg: to secure the top and bottom beech furniture sections together). For your safety, if any of these are enclosed when the beech furniture is delivered, they should always be used.
Additionally, if you are moving your beech furniture then make sure you choose a suitable location. Beech furniture should be placed away from heat sources (eg: radiators), and you should also place beech furniture away from unusually humid locations.
The
Convex Dining Room Collection is made from Beech.
Wooden furniture: rustic or perfect?
Wooden furniture will naturally expand and contract within its environment, with naturally occurring cracks because of this. If you are looking for a more polished look for your furniture, rightpricefurniture would recommend you purchase furniture from us with a lacquered finish. Furniture lacquer acts as a glue, seal and filler helping to prevent the wooden furniture from cracking. So, lacquered furniture will crack less than waxed.
For example the
Devonshire Pine Badger Range has a waxed finish as opposed to the
Devonshire New Solid Oak which has a lacquered finish. There are some ranges specifically designed to have a rustic look, such as the
Trafalgar Oak Collection.
