Devonshire Chunky Painted Stool:Devonshire Pine’s Chunky range is notable for combining bold contemporary styling with that most traditional of materials, pine. Now the company has taken the Chunky range a step further and offers the Chunky Painted Range.
This collection is still made from thick, solid, pine but vertical faces are finished in a pale, almost white, cream satin finish. The clean look enhances the plinths and horizontal surfaces which retain the pine grain and are finished in rustic wax.
All Devonshire Pine ranges are solid wood throughout, feature dovetailed joints, and come fully assembled. However, some larger items such as tables, beds and wardrobes may be partially dismantled to facilitate delivery.
How to move pine furniture
Pine furniture bought from rightpricefurniture on this website will be moved into your house for you. However, if you want to move your pine furniture once you have bought it, you should always lift your furniture rather than dragging it. Pine furniture has a plinth structure, and dragging it can cause damage to this.
Some two-part items of pine furniture from rightpricefurniture are provided with installation fixings (eg: to secure the top and bottom pine furniture sections together). For your safety, if any of these are enclosed when the
pine furniture is delivered, they should always be used.
Additionally, if you are moving your pine furniture then make sure you choose a suitable location. Pine furniture should be placed away from heat sources (eg: radiators), and you should also place pine furniture away from unusually humid locations.
Care of pine furniture
Pine furniture care: here are some tips from rightpricefurniture. Firstly, place your newly bought pine furniture in the right location: away from direct heat sources (e.g. radiators) or unusually humid locations.
Our second pine furniture care tip is to always lift your furniture if you want to move it, rather than dragging furniture across the floor. Pine is a soft wood and so lifting your furniture to move it will ensure you don’t damage the plinth structure.
Thirdly, don’t place hot or wet objects directly onto pine furniture, especially if it is waxed pine furniture. If you accidentally cause any marks on your pine furniture in this way, try rubbing your pine furniture along the grain with some wax furniture polish applied to some very fine (0000 grade) wire wool.
