At Right Price Furniture our aim is to bring you good quality furniture at the lowest possible prices. We achieve this by operating as economically as possible and keeping margins far lower than the industry average.
The drive for economy means we fill lorries with deliveries that are located close together, reducing travel distances and costs.
However, there are some costs over which we have no control and one of the most influential of these is the cost of fuel. Our imported furniture ranges are transported on ships. Furniture made in the UK is manufactured from timber transported on lorries. The furniture is transported by lorry from manufacturers and importers to us and then finally the furniture is delivered to our customers.
By the end of 2008, fuel prices are expected to have risen by 50% (from £1.00/litre to £1.50/litre). We have absorbed these rises for as long as possible, however we will have no alternative shortly other than to pass some of these increases on to our customers.
