Pine and Oak Furniture
Welcome to Right Price Furniture. We try to offer a comprehensive range of furniture in a wide choice of styles yet, despite all this, most of our furniture is made from just two species of wood: Oak and Pine.Oak is a slow-growing, durable, hardwood. Strong and relatively easy to carve, it has been used for British furniture making for hundreds of years and in recent years has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity. Oak is naturally a light khaki or milky coffee colour when new and darkens to a deep black/brown colour over long periods of time. For more information, see our page on

Pine (sometimes referred to as deal) was traditionally the furniture timber for those of more modest means. Ironically its widespread use in past times means there are now many examples of antique pine furniture that show all the hallmarks of having been well used and equally well cared for. These attractive pieces together with the influence of Scandinavia on contemporary furniture have ensured that pine continues to be popular. For more information, see our page on
