Devonshire Chunky Pine Nest of Tables:This brand new range from one of the country’s leading furniture manufacturers, Devonshire Pine, combines bold contemporary styling with that most traditional of materials, pine. It has a visual appeal that is supported by an underlying toughness and durability not often found in furniture in the forefront of style.
Cabinet backs and drawer bases are of solid wood and the drawers employ dovetail joints.
Chunky Pine is a fully assembled range although some larger items such as beds and wardrobes may be partially dismantled to facilitate delivery.
Care of pine furniture
Pine furniture care: here are some tips from rightpricefurniture. Firstly, place your newly bought pine furniture in the right location: away from direct heat sources (e.g. radiators) or unusually humid locations.
Our second pine furniture care tip is to always lift your furniture if you want to move it, rather than dragging furniture across the floor. Pine is a soft wood and so lifting your furniture to move it will ensure you don’t damage the plinth structure.
Thirdly, don’t place hot or wet objects directly onto pine furniture, especially if it is waxed pine furniture. If you accidentally cause any marks on your pine furniture in this way, try rubbing your pine furniture along the grain with some wax furniture polish applied to some very fine (0000 grade) wire wool.

Pine furniture characteristics
What should you expect from your pine furniture purchase from rightpricefurniture? Pine is a natural material with beautiful variations of grain patter, knots and colour in every piece of furniture. So, no two pieces of pine furniture from rightpricefurniture will be exactly alike.
You’ll find that your pine furniture will gradually mellow (darken) in colour over time, so new pine furniture will initially look paler that older pine furniture. Because of this, for the first few months after you’ve bought your pine furniture, rightpricefurniture advise that you do not leave a vase, ornament or other item in one place on the pine for too long, as the area of furniture covered will mellow less that the surrounding area.
