Regency Cheval Mirror:The Regency range of fully-assembled pine furniture is traditionally-styled and features decorative mouldings and hand carved motifs. Quality features of the range include jointed and glued construction and dovetail joints to drawers.
Its distressed surfaces and rich wax finish create an effect very similar to that of antique pine.
The Regency bedroom range is fully assembled although some larger items such as tables may be partially dismantled to facilitate delivery.
Regency Cheval Mirror
The Regency collection is a traditional living, dining and bedroom range finished in a beautiful hand wax antique colour made from solid pine throughout.
The Regency Cheval Mirror has dovetailed joints and tongue and groove bases and backs which makes the furniture ideal for everyday use.
The Regency Cheval Mirror has detailed metal handles and has a rustic feel to it.
The Regency Chevl Mirror comes fully assembled with ornate carving in the wood.
Pine furniture finishes
Pine furniture is generally available in three types of finish. They are:
1. White or sometimes referred to as raw. Raw means that the pine furniture has no stain or topcoat – just a naturally beautiful look.
2. Lacquered. The pine furniture has been stained to a colour of choice and then a clear lacquer is added. This gives the pine furniture a tougher shell which makes it far more resistant to stains, moisture and scratches. This type of finish is the easiest to maintain and clean for pine furniture.
3. Waxed. Our waxed pine furniture is finished in water-based stain and real wax. Waxed pine furniture will benefit from the occasional application of solid wax furniture polish, particularly in its first few months in your home. The sheen of the surface on the pine furniture will probably increase as you apply and buff more furniture wax. Between wax applications, day-to-day pine furniture cleaning can be carried out with a dry duster.

Wooden furniture: rustic or perfect?
Wooden furniture will naturally expand and contract within its environment, with naturally occurring cracks because of this. Furniture lacquer acts as a glue, seal and filler helping to prevent the wooden furniture from cracking. So, lacquered furniture will crack less than waxed.
