A sturdy and chunky hand-made traditional pine bedroom range, the Romney Pine range is made using grade ‘A’ Scandinavian Redwood pine from sustained forests.
This classic farmhouse design features fielded and raised panels and optional cut-out or straight plinth, each piece is hand-made by dedicated craftsmen and finished in your chosen wax, lacquered or painted finish - or even unfinished.
The collection is supplied to Right Price Furniture by Country Pine Warehouse unfinished.
We have our own spray shop so can offer customers the finish of their choice.
The Spray Shop is run by a team of highly experienced fully trained furniture sprayers.
The Kenilworth lacquered finish is shown.
Naturally this is on pine and different woods will take the lacquer or wax differently.
Pine furniture from rightpricefurniture
Furniture made of pine will generally mellow (darken) in colour over time. Pine furniture from rightpricefurniture is of a country style design and each piece of furniture will have slight variations – for example, the texture of the grain, colour of the pine furniture, etc.
Right Price Furniture offer a wide selection of Pine Furniture, the ever popular
Badger Collection is a firm favourite as is the classic
Tarka Range. Both of these ranges are from Devonshire Pine renowned for superb quality and solid construction.
The
Lincoln &
Cotswold Waxed Ranges although being flat packed is a long way from traditional cheap MDF products and certainly offer superb value. We even offer hand carved furniture in the form of the glorious
Regency Hand Carved Range.
Wooden furniture: rustic or perfect?
Wooden furniture will naturally expand and contract within its environment, with naturally occurring cracks because of this. If you are looking for a more polished look for your furniture, rightpricefurniture would recommend you purchase furniture from us with a lacquered finish. Furniture lacquer acts as a glue, seal and filler helping to prevent the wooden furniture from cracking. So, lacquered furniture will crack less than waxed.
For example the
Devonshire Pine Badger Range has a waxed finish as opposed to the
Devonshire New Solid Oak which has a lacquered finish. There are some ranges specifically designed to have a rustic look, such as the
Trafalgar Oak Collection.
