In the limelight: direct supplies of Corona Mexican furniture

Our Mexican furniture ranges include the Corona range, which can be supplied either fully assembled by our own workshops or in self-assembly form. It has come to our attention that some websites contain inaccurate claims concerning Corona furniture. These include the following:

“Drawer bases are tongue and grooved for extra strength.” This is not true. Tongue and groove is a joint used for fitting planks, boards or sheets together, whereas the drawer bases of the Corona range are cut from solid sheets of plywood.

“Drawer sides up to an inch thick.” This would be an unnecessary use of timber. Corona drawer sides are 5/8ths of an inch thick.

“Each door handle is cast iron.” All handles, hinges and metal fittings of the Corona range are machined or fabricated from steel. This is far stronger than would be the case with small iron castings.
