Indian cabinet makers have a huge range of woods from which to choose, but only a small proportion of these are known to Europeans at present.  Many woods with attractive qualities are just waiting to be discovered.  Please note, we make every effort to ensure all our furniture is derived from sustainable sources.   

The Kheri range is ideal for those seeking a strong flavour of the Indian subcontinent.  It features the highly contrasting grain patterns of Sheesham and Acacia wood and the incorporation of jali decoration into many pieces.

Those wanting a period look should consider the high quality Convex range from CPW.  Although finished in a contemporary style, rather than the mirror-smoothness of original Art Deco pieces, it nevertheless would not look out of place in a thirties or forties setting – as well as gracing more modern homes.
