Devonshire products come fully assembled and are solid throughout featuring dovetailed joints and Tongue and Groove backs. The contemporary range offers a similar level of quality throughout.

Recent additions include the impressive Trafalgar Oak Range with it's Rustic appearance and slightly cheaper Oakhampton made from a combination of Ask Oak and other hardwoods. All of these collections contain no plywood and come fully assembled.

Wooden furniture will naturally expand and contract within its environment, with naturally occurring cracks because of this.  If you are looking for a more polished look for your furniture, rightpricefurniture would recommend you purchase furniture from us with a lacquered finish. Furniture lacquer acts as a glue, seal and filler helping to prevent the wooden furniture from cracking. So, lacquered furniture will crack less than waxed.

For example the Devonshire Pine Badger Range has a waxed finish as opposed to the Devonshire New Solid Oak which has a lacquered finish. There are some ranges specifically designed to have a rustic look, such as the Trafalgar Oak Collection.
