This rustic oak sideboard is a good illustration of the features found in the Devonshire Rustic Oak range of furniture. All items use good quality American oak in their construction and this same timber is also used in the drawers and cabinet backs - a point on which lesser manufacturers try to economise by using cheaper woods or manufactured board. Drawers are made using dovetail joints and good quality metal fittings are used throughout. The lacquer finish of all items in the range is to a very high standard but the distressing of surfaces and edges to achieve that essential rustic look can clearly be seen in this RS40 rustic oak sideboard.

Devonshire Pine's Rustic Oak Occasional range

The Devonshire Rustic Oak collection from Devonshire Pine Ltd. features inch and a half thick oak tops, three-quarter inch thick oak drawer fronts and heavy gauge steel drop handles in a black finish. But what distinguishes Devonshire’s range from similar products is the quality of construction and finish.

This fully assembled collection has jointed and glued construction for strength, the correct dovetail joints for drawer construction and solid oak panelling to cabinet backs and drawer bases. The quality of the lacquer finish is also of a typically high standard.

The range is made of oak and all items are fully assembled except for dining tables which have the legs removed to facilitate delivery.
