It is perhaps amusing to realise that it was four years after the Battle of Trafalgar before Arthur Welleley became enobled as the first Duke of Wellington, the title from which this furniture derives its name. That said, this rustic oak Wellington chest of drawers from the Trafalgar range is a fine piece of furniture (however confused its pedigree!).

It is solidly built from good quality oak and the distressed appearance is successfully achieved. The lighter colour of the Trafalgar range compared to its rivals is not unattractive and the result is a charming chest of drawers providing a good amount of storage in only a small amount of floorspace.

It is ideally suited to those seeking the quality and ease of care of modern furniture, but without that ‘fresh from the workshop’ appearance.

Please note: the term 'surface marks' includes small imperfections and black marks that are deliberately added to create a distressed appearance.It is a fully assembled range although some larger items such as beds and wardrobes may be partially dismantled to facilitate delivery.
