Anyone looking for a rustic oak bed will have to look hard to find one that offers better quality or value than this series of rustic style beds from Devonshire's Rustic Oak range. The main components, that is, side rails, head and foot ends are strongly built from best quality American oak. This is lightly distressed and then completed in a high quality lacquer finish. The mattress (not included) is supported on wooden slats fixed to the side rails.

In its fully assembled form this 5ft RH30 Rustic Oak bed would be difficult, if not impossible, to transport and deliver without risking damage to walls, fittings or the bed itself.
It is therefore supplied partially dismantled into four or five major assemblies. This has been a common practice for beds since medieval times.
Re-assembly is a relatively straightforward procedure requiring only basic tools.
