Those seeking a rustic style bed will have to look hard to find one that offers better quality or value than this series of rustic oak beds from the Devonshire Rustic Oak range. The side rails, head and foot ends are strongly built from best quality American oak, lightly distressed and completed in a high quality lacquer finish. The mattress (not supplied) is supported on wooden slats fixed to the side rails.
In its fully assembled form this 4ft 6in Rustic Oak bed would be difficult, if not impossible, to transport and deliver without risking damage to walls, fittings or the bed itself.
It is therefore supplied partially dismantled into four or five major assemblies. This has been a common practice for beds since medieval times.
Re-assembly of this bed is a relatively straightforward procedure requiring only basic tools.
