Apart from the wardrobes, this 3 over 4 rustic oak chest of drawers is one of the most eyecatching pieces in the Devonshire Rustic Oak range. The first thing to impress is the size which, at over 4ft 6in wide, is noticeable in most bedrooms. But although a relatively wide oak chest, the seven drawers offer a generous amount of storage space. Closer inspection reveals the quality, common to all items in the Rustic oak range. Drawer bases and the cabinet back are made of the same high grade American oak as the rest of the cabinet and fitted together using dovetail joints. The distressed appearance is carefully applied to achieve just the right look and the lacquer coating produces a high quality finish. Topped perhaps with the dressing table mirror or one of the rustic oak wall mirrors, this chest could form an impressive focal point to any rustic oak bedroom furniture collection.

The Devonshire Rustic Oak Furniture collection from Devonshire Pine Ltd features inch and a half thick oak tops, three-quarter inch thick oak drawer fronts and heavy gauge steel drop handles in a black finish. But what distinguishes Devonshire’s range from similar products is the quality of construction and finish.

Features include jointed and glued construction for strength, the correct dovetail joints for drawer construction and solid oak panelling to cabinet backs and drawer bases.

The quality of the lacquer finish is also of a typically high standard.

This range is made of oak and all items are fully assembled except for beds and wardrobes which are partially dismantled to facilitate delivery.
