The New Solid Oak 4'6 Low End Bed would be a brillaint Guest bed. It would compliment and light and airy room with maybe a single Pedestal Dressing table and stool.
The side rails, head and foot ends of this bed are made from solid oak throughout and completed in a tough lacquer finish. The mattress (not supplied) is supported on wooden slats fixed to the side rails. In its fully assembled form it would be difficult, if not impossible, to deliver this bed into most of the rooms chosen for its use.
It is therefore supplied partially dismantled into four or five major assemblies. This has been a common practice for beds since medieval times.
