Devonshire Square Top Oak 3' L.F.E Bedstead:

This solid oak bed shares all the qualities of it high foot end counterpart and, like the high foot end version, would make a charming addition to a single bedroom. This bed is made from solid oak throughout and completed in a tough lacquer finish. Its mattress (not supplied) is supported on wooden slats fixed to the side rails. In its fully assembled form it would be difficult, if not impossible, to deliver this bed into most of the rooms chosen for its use. It is therefore supplied partially dismantled into four or five major assemblies. This has been a common practice for beds since medieval times.

Re-assembly is a relatively straightforward procedure but if, however, you require assistance then please tell the delivery service when they contact you to arrange the delivery date. Please note there is a charge for this service.
