Devonshire New Solid Oak 1 Door TV Video Cabinet:This Devonshire New Solid Oak TV Cabinet is made from solid oak throughout. It is sturdily built using a jointed and glued method of construction and is completed in a tough lacquer finish. The enclosed cupboard section of the NE20 contains a single height adjustable shelf, while the open section has two height adjustable shelves. An access portal is cut from the rear panelling to allow cables or wiring to be neatly routed to the rear of the cabinet.

One of the most dynamic and fast changing areas of furniture design has got to be that of the Hi Fi cabinet with even the name changing several times during the past 100 years. During the late 1890s, gramophones were built into their own cabinets and are now highly collectable. The gramophone was succeeded by the record player, often in a small box similar to a suitcase, but in the 1960s the arrival of stereo gave birth to massive, sideboard-sized Hi Fi units at the luxury end of the market. Oak is a slow growing tree. It has a dense timber that does most things well. For example, it is not as rot resistant as sweet chestnut when used for fencing, but it is still a very good material for fencing.
