Please read our Terms & Conditions before placing your order.

How do I order furniture online?
Just find the furniture that you want to buy and add that furniture to your basket by clicking 'add to basket' (beside each item on screen). When you're ready to order online, just follow the simple and secure process on the 'my basket' page and we'll be in touch by email once your order and payment has been processed – it’s as easy as that!

How do I pay for my furniture?
We accept most major credit, charge and debit cards. We have a fully automated online credit card processing system which is the most straightforward method of paying. However if you do not want to use your debit/credit card over the internet we can also process your payment over the telephone. Please call 0844 88 00 348 with the product details and have your card details handy.

You can also pay securely using a Paypal account, just click on the Paypal button at the checkout.

Please call 0844 88 00 348 if you wish to discuss our Interest Free finance options.

What guarantee does furniture come with?
All furniture from Right Price Furniture comes with a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Where can you deliver furniture to?
We deliver furniture anywhere accessible by lorry within mainland UK.

*Customers who live outside these areas may be able to specify delivery to a shipping company but please contact us first to discuss the implications for returns and guarantees policies. Unfortunately deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, and the Isle of Wight are not possible at this time.

How long will it take for my furniture to be delivered?
The lead times will be advertised on each individual item page.

Please refer to the product page and our Terms & Conditions for full details. If a product is out of stock and cannot be delivered within the time scale quoted, you will be notified of the delay as soon as possible.

Routes are planned to minimise environmental impact by being as fuel efficient as possible, so delivery may be a little longer for some ‘difficult’ locations.

Solid Wooden Furniture
What do I need to know about owning wooden furniture?
Unlike plastic or metal furniture which is cold and impersonal, wooden furniture has variations in grain, pattern colour and texture that make each piece as unique as your fingerprint. It is a natural, organic material and continues to react to its environment long after it has been harvested from the living tree.

Wood will exhibit variations in colour, grain pattern and tone within individual pieces of furniture and between different items of furniture from the same range. This is not a fault but a natural characteristic of the material. Wood will also change colour as it ages. Again this is not a fault but part of the inherent characteristics of the material.

It is not unusual for wooden furniture to crack or split as the timber settles; this happens more frequently with waxed furniture and is completely normal. If you are concerned that the split may be excessive (more than 2 or 3mm wide, for example) then please be 100% sure to treat the furniture at least once every 3 months with a beeswax protector.

Wooden furniture will also swell in damp conditions and shrink in hot, dry conditions. Please do not subject your wooden furniture to areas which attract strong sunlight and heat such as conservatories.

Waxed furniture requires regular wax treatments to preserve its appearance. The wax is merely a coating on bare wood, and as such the wood will exhibit shiny marks where the wax may have been rubbed. This is natural and unavoidable.

No wooden product is entirely stain or heat resistant; avoid spilling liquids (including toiletries or beauty products), or placing drinks directly onto the furniture.

Why can’t you deliver my furniture when I choose?
One of the ways we keep down our costs to you, the customer, is to plan routes and schedules as efficiently as possible. This means it is not always possible to deliver on specific days or at specific times, although we will always try to meet the needs of customers within the limitations of our schedules.

Why haven't you turned up on time?
We will endeavour to dispatch your order within the date range stated in the order confirmation e-mail. If this e-mail did not contain a date, we shall endeavour to dispatch your order within the time-scales advertised on the individual products on your order. For all purchases, allow the carriers up to 21 working days from date of dispatch to complete the delivery.

Although every effort is made to make deliveries at the time arranged, please note that we will not be liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience suffered by you as a result of a delay or rescheduling of delivery caused by unforeseen circumstances which are outside our reasonable control.

What to expect from your furniture
Why hasn’t my wardrobe/bed/table been delivered fully assembled?
Wardrobes and other large or heavy items of furniture are difficult to manoeuvre. This presents a risk of causing damage to property or injury to persons. To minimize these risks, large items of furniture are often partially dismantled for delivery. They are designed to be partially dismantled, this does not detract from their quality, it does not make them ‘flat pack furniture’ and it is a practice that top quality furniture makers have been using since the middle of the 19th Century.

What is a ‘distressed finish’ or ‘distressed furniture’?
Distressed furniture is a highly popular style which is available in natural, stained or painted finishes. A piece of distressed furniture is one that has been purposefully aged using a variety of time-honoured methods. It often exudes a humble and understated character, which will complement and enhance the traditional feel of your home.

What do I need to know about owning hardwood furniture?
Wood and wood-based furniture has inherent inconsistencies in the absorbency of its surface. It is inevitable therefore that this will result in moderate colour variations in solid hardwood furniture.

Knots are the marks where a limb or branch has been cut off when trees are converted into planks. In new timber, nutrients in the form of resin may continue to pass through these points for some considerable time, causing 'bleeding' through to the surface.  This is a natural process and is more noticeable with solid hardwood furniture.

There are also variations in colour finishes depicted on the internet due to technical factors, such a lighting of the furniture when photographed, editing of images and variations between video display units (VDUs).

What happens if the furniture arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event that any items are damaged in transit, we will use independent experts to report and resolve the matter, as quickly and as conveniently as possible.

All damages must be reported to aftersales@rightpricefurniture.co.uk or 0844 8800 348 within 24 hours.

Any items not reported as damaged within 24 hours will be deemed as received in good condition.

Claims must be supported by photographs and it is the responsibility of the customer to show the damage has not been caused by any misuse or mishandling following delivery. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Can I cancel my order?
We are confident that you will be delighted with your furniture. In the unlikely event that you should wish to return an item to us, we are pleased to offer a 7 day money back guarantee, commencing the day after delivery.

This means you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days without charge; the only liability being for any return carriage costs.

If any items are incorrect, damaged or faulty you should notify us immediately by clicking here. You will need to provide us with the S/C number printed on the white label (found either on the product or the box).

Please return the item(s) in the same condition as received and in the original packaging. Once the items have been returned they will be inspected. You will receive your refund within 30 days of cancellation.

Can you be careful of my new carpet/new floor?
Staff making deliveries are required by law to wear protective footwear at all times. As they are not allowed to remove this footwear when unloading the vehicle, gaining access to the property, or carrying furniture into the property, we strongly advise customers to make proper provision to protect their carpets and flooring. We do not accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may inadvertently be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their work.
