Ferndale 5 drawer wide chest:The Ferndale collection is bright, cheerful and offers great value for money. The quality of this self-assembly range compares well with more expensive, fully assembled, ranges.
Wood finish surfaces are made of solid pine coated with hardwearing lacquer. MDF has been used for the painted panels because the material has a more even consistency – and therefore gives a more even finish – than solid wood. Drawers are fitted together using the traditional dovetail joints favoured by professional cabinet makers.
Chests of drawers
Chests of drawers from rightpricefurniture are of the highest quality and are made from solid wood. Wooden furniture will expand and contract within its environment, and as back and chest of drawer bases are made from interlocking wooden boards, these may show some shrinkage as the wooden furniture ages. This is quite normal, particularly in centrally heated homes. You can care for your chest of drawers by ensuring it’s placed away from direct heat sources (such as radiators).
