Brooklyn furniture

The Brooklyn range was an attractive collection of solid oak bedroom and dining furniture, similar in appearance to the Devonshire New Solid Oak ranges. It is still available from some outlets in the UK.

Launched well before Devonshire’s New Solid Oak ranges, one of the more noticeable differences were the curved plinths seen on some Brooklyn items. This was a prevalent feature of furniture designs in the 1960s and 1970s, an era that is returning to popularity.
