Pine furniture characteristics

You’ll find that your pine furniture will gradually mellow (darken) in colour over time, so new pine furniture will initially look paler that older pine furniture. Because of this, for the first few months after you’ve bought your pine furniture, rightpricefurniture advise that you do not leave a vase, ornament or other item in one place on the pine for too long, as the area of furniture covered will mellow less that the surrounding area. Wooden furniture: rustic or perfect?
Wooden furniture will naturally expand and contract within its environment, with naturally occurring cracks because of this. If you are looking for a more polished look for your furniture, rightpricefurniture would recommend you purchase furniture from us with a lacquered finish. Furniture lacquer acts as a glue, seal and filler helping to prevent the wooden furniture from cracking. So, lacquered furniture will crack less than waxed.
