The Solid Pine range shares the same quality features as all other products in the Devonshire Pine ranges, such as solid wood panelling to drawer bases and cabinet backs and the use of the correct woodworking joints in construction.
With dovetailed joints the Devonshire badger range comes fully assembled except for dining tables which have the legs removed for delivery and complete dressers which are delivered in top and bottom halves.
The standard finishes for this range are Classic Wax and Rustic Wax. All other finishes are special order items.

Care of pine furniture
Pine furniture care: here are some tips from rightpricefurniture. Firstly, place your newly bought pine furniture in the right location: away from direct heat sources (e.g. radiators) or unusually humid locations.
Our second pine furniture care tip is to always lift your furniture if you want to move it, rather than dragging furniture across the floor. Pine is a soft wood and so lifting your furniture to move it will ensure you don’t damage the plinth structure.
Thirdly, don’t place hot or wet objects directly onto pine furniture, especially if it is waxed pine furniture. If you accidentally cause any marks on your pine furniture in this way, try rubbing your pine furniture along the grain with some wax furniture polish applied to some very fine (0000 grade) wire wool.

Furniture finishes: wooden furniture
There are two main types of furniture finish waxed and lacquered.
Waxing furniture involves coating the wooden furniture with a thin layer of the wax, such as the
Devonshire Pine Collection. The majority of people who request a wax finish for their wooden furniture are seeking the rustic furniture look, which is exactly what waxed furniture gives you!
If you are seeking a cleaner, more perfectly finished look then you should consider a lacquered finish. The
Devonshire New Solid Oak range is a popular choice for lacquered furniture.
There are emerging ranges such as the increasingly popular
Trafalgar Oak Collection that are designed to offer a specific rustic appearance. Another fine example is
The Hampshire collection which is made from reclaimed wood.
