CPW Romney Solid Pine Mule Chest:The Romney range is good quality solid pine bedroom furniture. It is perhaps the most ornate of all the standard pine ranges available from Right Price Furniture, offering the following features:
Raised and fielded panels to doors and drawer fronts
Stylised plinths
High cornices to all full height wardrobes
Romney furniture is sturdy and ready for many years of good use. It is delivered to us in the bare wood, so can be specified in a wax, lacquer or painted finish of your choice.
This is a fully assembled range although some larger items such as beds and wardrobes may be partially dismantled to facilitate delivery.
A sturdy and chunky hand-made traditional pine bedroom range, the Romney Pine range is made using grade ‘A’ Scandinavian Redwood pine from sustained forests.
This classic farmhouse design features fielded and raised panels and optional cut-out or straight plinth, each piece is hand-made by dedicated craftsmen and finished in your chosen wax, lacquered or painted finish - or even unfinished.
The collection is supplied to Right Price Furniture by Country Pine Warehouse unfinished.
We have our own spray shop so can offer customers the finish of their choice.
The Spray Shop is run by a team of highly experienced fully trained furniture sprayers.

Naturally this is on pine and different woods will take the lacquer or wax differently.
Pine furniture finishes
Pine furniture is generally available in three types of finish. They are:
1. White or sometimes referred to as raw. Raw means that the pine furniture has no stain or topcoat – just a naturally beautiful look.
2. Lacquered. The pine furniture has been stained to a colour of choice and then a clear lacquer is added. This gives the pine furniture a tougher shell which makes it far more resistant to stains, moisture and scratches. This type of finish is the easiest to maintain and clean for pine furniture.
3. Waxed. Our waxed pine furniture is finished in water-based stain and real wax. Waxed pine furniture will benefit from the occasional application of solid wax furniture polish, particularly in its first few months in your home. The sheen of the surface on the pine furniture will probably increase as you apply and buff more furniture wax. Between wax applications, day-to-day pine furniture cleaning can be carried out with a dry duster.

Chests of drawers
Chests of drawers from rightpricefurniture are of the highest quality and are made from solid wood. Wooden furniture will expand and contract within its environment, and as back and chest of drawer bases are made from interlocking wooden boards, these may show some shrinkage as the wooden furniture ages. This is quite normal, particularly in centrally heated homes. You can care for your chest of drawers by ensuring it’s placed away from direct heat sources (such as radiators).
To combat this contraction and expansion some of the higher end furniture manufactures offer tongue and groove bases, examples include
