Capri white painted pine furniture has all the freshness that might be expected of anything associated with its Mediterranean namesake. Crisp, clean lines and the attractive contrast of white and waxed pine surfaces will brighten any bedroom or bathroom.
The stunning contrast between real wood and white is the hallmark of Capri.
Each piece is constructed using traditional frame and panel cabinet making.
Tops and embellishments are produced from real wood which is only sourced from carefully managed forests.
Each and every wooden piece is hand finished with an antique wax which enhances the natural beauty of the wood.
The white aspects are made from a composite of natural wood and fibreboard which is expertly coated with several layers of lacquer to give the furniture its deep sheen.
A selection of solid wood accessories and beds further enhance the furniture in this range.

All of our
pine furniture is of a country style design. In order to preserve its rustic “antique” character, no attempt is made to conceal the natural flaw and variations in the pine. For example, small cracks, heavily textured grain, variable colouration of the timber, small blemishes and filled areas are all part of the essential character of this pine furniture.
Pine furniture finishes
Pine furniture is generally available in three types of finish. They are:
1. White or sometimes referred to as raw. Raw means that the pine furniture has no stain or topcoat – just a naturally beautiful look.
2. Lacquered. The pine furniture has been stained to a colour of choice and then a clear lacquer is added. This gives the pine furniture a tougher shell which makes it far more resistant to stains, moisture and scratches. This type of finish is the easiest to maintain and clean for pine furniture.
3. Waxed. Our waxed pine furniture is finished in water-based stain and real wax. Waxed pine furniture will benefit from the occasional application of solid wax furniture polish, particularly in its first few months in your home. The sheen of the surface on the pine furniture will probably increase as you apply and buff more furniture wax. Between wax applications, day-to-day pine furniture cleaning can be carried out with a dry duster.
