This Pine Furniture comes fully assembled.
Please note; due to the nature of this product the colour of items may be different to that shown on our webpages. The photograph shown at the bottom of the page is an example of the range as it arrived at our warehouse.
Important information This bed is a large item of furniture. In its fully assembled form it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to gain access with it into most of the rooms chosen for its use. It is therefore supplied partially dismantled into four or five major assemblies. This has been a common practice for beds since medieval times. Re-assembly of this bed is a relatively straightforward procedure requiring only basic tools. If however you require assistance, please tell the delivery service when they contact you to arrange the delivery date. Please note there is a charge for this service.
Pine furniture characteristics
What should you expect from your pine furniture purchase from rightpricefurniture? Pine is a natural material with beautiful variations of grain patter, knots and colour in every piece of furniture. So, no two pieces of pine furniture from rightpricefurniture will be exactly alike.
You’ll find that your pine furniture will gradually mellow (darken) in colour over time, so new pine furniture will initially look paler that older pine furniture. Because of this, for the first few months after you’ve bought your pine furniture, rightpricefurniture advise that you do not leave a vase, ornament or other item in one place on the pine for too long, as the area of furniture covered will mellow less that the surrounding area. You can find a guide to choosing
Solid Pine Furniture.
Pine furniture finishes
Pine furniture is generally available in three types of finish. They are:
1. White or sometimes referred to as raw. Raw means that the pine furniture has no stain or topcoat – just a naturally beautiful look.
2. Lacquered. The pine furniture has been stained to a colour of choice and then a clear lacquer is added. This gives the pine furniture a tougher shell which makes it far more resistant to stains, moisture and scratches. This type of finish is the easiest to maintain and clean for pine furniture.
3. Waxed. Our waxed pine furniture is finished in water-based stain and real wax. Waxed pine furniture will benefit from the occasional application of solid wax furniture polish, particularly in its first few months in your home. The sheen of the surface on the pine furniture will probably increase as you apply and buff more furniture wax. Between wax applications, day-to-day pine furniture cleaning can be carried out with a dry duster.
Many of the CPW Furniture Ranges are available in these finishes. Please see
